A revolution in backpack design when it first released, Think Tank’s Shape Shifter is not alone any longer as more options became available now, in response to input from professional photographers. One the the new Shape Shifter backpack comes naked.

The Shape Shifter is an innovative backpack with a surprisingly large capacity to carry a complete pro camera system, laptop and accessories. The original model compresses to 3 inches in depth when gear is removed, a feature that gave the backpack its name. Now Think Tank Photo introduce three new backpacks following the same concept: the Shape Shifter 15 V2.0 is designed to hold a 15” laptop and the Shape Shifter 17 is designed to hold a 17” laptop.  The third model, the Naked Shape Shifter, allows photographers to create a totally customized modular backpack.

Although the two other models offer the option to change some elements, the Naked Shape Shifter allows users to build their own custom carrying solution by attaching Skin Pouches or Lens Changers to the inside of the backpack. The Naked Shape Shifter innovative design makes it one of the most flexible carrying solutions for professional photographers. While traveling or on location, the backpack expands and contracts to fit your workflow. The Shape Shifter series also features dedicated tablet and smartphone pockets, roller handle pass-through sleeve, removable water bottle pouch and updated pouch design.
