In addition to our new DXA-5D XLR Adapter, we have created a unique mounting bracket for this camera. The MultiMount 5D can be used for any camcorder but is designed with the Canon 5D in mind. It allows you to mount a wireless microphone receiver in the center and also provides 4 additional cold shoe mounts to attach microphones, lights and other accessories on the top or side.
It is made from light weight yet sturdy polycarbonate with metal inserts for the shoes. A rubber shoe provides isolation to any microphones attached to the bracket. The shoe is movable to any of the 3 positions on the bottom or on the end of the bracket.
