USC and Dr. Henry Jenkins have been at the forefront of the academic study of Transmedia. I have been fortunate to have attended the TRANSMEDIA HOLLYWOOD annual conference that USC presents with UCLA since its inception and am looking forward to this year's TRANSMEDIA, HOLLYWOOD 4 SPREADING CHANGE. The conference takes place on Friday, April 12th at UCLA and will focus on the impact transmedia has on cultures networking across various forms of public media.
Not only is Transmedia strategy design applicable to entertainment and marketing storytelling, but it can also be used for education.
