Kip Haynes is one of the most highly sought-after consultants for design and development of training applications for commercial and military users. He spent the early part of his career developing high performance parallel distributed rendering applications for large scale data visualization. Haynes was part of the last panel at TransVergence Summit entitled “The Future at Hand – Emerging Platforms and the Future of Content”. There, he discussed his experiences designing military applications using augmented and virtual reality which include officer training, therapy for war vets suffering from PTSD and “Holodeck” type applications for deep space exploration.
